Blue Emerald

A brand focused on positive masculinity within the LGBTQ+ community. Blue Emerald is a brand that serves the LGBTQ+ community and market toward those within the community that present as masculine while maintaining responsibility, leadership, and integrity - opposing the growing toxic masculinity that has infected most of the masculine spaces.

Blue Emerald is initiating many endeavors to work toward its goal. One of those endeavors is partnering with LGBTQ+ businesses, photographers, and talent to create a 21+ magazine called “H-Wood Magazine” (named after the owner and head photographer). The goal of this magazine is to showcase masculinity and promote positive impacts of masculinity within the LGBTQ+ community and the world. Masculinity isn’t something that queer people should feel ashamed of, nor should it be overly procured to the point of privileged toxicity.

Masculinity is an art, a role, and an identity. All three of those points are valid expression of masculinity, and should be celebrated for what they are. Focusing on the LGBTQ+ community and the relationship queer culture has with masculinity is a major motivation for many men and masculine presenting people to feel safe to be themselves.
